Marketing Budget Allocation
During my term at Bose, I was able to attain the lean yellow belt course, where I was tasked to streamline the process of budget allocation with the marketing activities. The main idea was to research and give an idea about the process of including the data which is not complicated to use. I researched and learned about many tools that would be counted beneficial in terms of all the requirements of the project. I kept my manager in the loop with all aspects and ideas. I had to ease the process and successfully settled on a platform that had every feature that was required and will help the organization to manage finances with the marketing activities.
This project sharpened my skills and gave me an opportunity to add a few new ones along the way.

Digital Strategy plan: Famiridge
During my master’s at Northeastern University, I took a class about Digital Entrepreneurship. Along with learning and understanding how Digital Entrepreneur harnesses the power of social and reached people to offer products & services, I understood much more valuable aspects such as budget allocation, communication with investors to understand what's at stake for the startups. The focus of the project was to come up with an idea of the startup and brainstorm on what value proposition are we bringing in to the people, service we are providing, understand Target Audience, industry and go-to marketing strategy, key risks and mitigation strategy, seed milestones, and how to achieve it. It was a team project, but personally, it particularly helped me gain skills on how to pull out actionable metrics to set the milestones.
The ideas were pitched together with the team over the course of three weeks and helped me poise the great use of the techniques we developed in the class, particularly the lean startup approach and the MVP actionable metrics.
The Weather Company: Digital Re-mastery
In the digital re-mastery and disruptive business model report, I researched the weather company, analyzed the products/ services, challenges the company had to face, and created the business model canvas for the company. One of the key insights that I took away from the course and case study is how digital technology is impacting the way leading companies succeed and it helped me strengthen the skills that are needed to increase digital mastery.
With the knowledge, I gained, and skills developed through this project, I can apply these skills in the companies in the future to transform their current positions and adapt to the new changes in the digital media world coming along the way.
Digital Storytelling
In this project, I was asked to create a fictional character and tell a story using the social media platform- Instagram.
This project helped me create my own character and her story. I had an opportunity to share my work with my peers and gain valuable experiences such as emotional intelligence and social learning. With this project, I was able to document the story, formulate a point of view, develop a script, manage the scope of the project. An added benefit was that I learned new editing tools. This project also helped me develop interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and assessment skills.

Social Media Strategy for Isekai Eternal
During my internship term at Subdream Studios, I was asked to create a social media strategy for game users in Japan. For the project, I analyzed the Target Audience in Japan, which is essential before creating a social strategy. I collected the consumer data and evaluated the interactions to create comprehensive reports and improve the marketing strategies. In this brief marketing plan, I was able to understand the consumers in Japan, and how differently we had to think and create an approach that would be considered appealing for them. It was interesting and at the same time educating to see the market through the eyes of a Japanese customer's perspective instead of a marketer's standpoint.
Marketing Plan for QPI
I was asked to think about a company/ organization/ service (Fictional / Real) that would benefit from Integrated Internet Marketing Plan. The plan would be focused on a 6–12-month timeline in response to rebuilding from the Global Pandemic. At the time, I was volunteering at Quiet Parks International as a Social Media Marketer and decided to choose QPI as a company for my project. I created a marketing plan for QPI, the mission & vision of the campaign. I worked on their Social Media Audit, to build a social strategy accordingly. You can access my project to see the details of the same.
Informational Interview
This project goes beyond the requirements of creating a project for some company. My professor had us reach out to someone for the informational interview.
Although the purpose of an informational interview is to obtain information- prior research and preparation are essential (which I covered). But the key takeaway from this project was the communication. On the whole, communication plays a pivotal role in marketing. I was able to grasp some ideas that I got through the informational interview. Since my interviewee is a CEO of an ad agency, I got an idea of how ad agencies are adapting to the new norms of digital media.
The Black Paintings by Francisco de Goya
For this project, I was asked to write a research paper on one of the artists - Francisco de Goya. It was a great opportunity to explore this topic that has particularly been interesting to me. The research process allowed me to gain expertise on the topic. I was able to develop skills such as the ability to evaluate, ability to research, evidence, draw conclusions, and the ability to broaden out.
Advertising Campaign: Polish Me Pretty
This project gave me a chance to create a marketing plan for the business I had started. I did a lot of research to understand how nail services are being promoted to the audience. There were so many ways to approach the project. I was working on the project keeping in mind, that this wasn't only a project for me, but also something personal.
In this project, I was able to learn different aspects of designing the campaign such as the importance of colors and perceptions of the same on the minds of people, the importance of negative space while designing the ads. It was interesting and very educating to work on this project.
I ended up extending this project as a fictional business for one of my other projects, listed here.
Campaign Planning: Polish Me Pretty
During my Post Graduate Diploma course at KC College, I was given an opportunity to create a campaign plan for existing/ fictional companies/businesses/ services. I chose 'Polish Me Pretty' services as a brand and extended the idea of it being already an established brand.
The campaign plan is based on the idea that Polish Me Pretty is a well-known brand and has existed since the year 2009.
This project helped me in understanding the market and target audience, analyzing the competitors to build a complete strategy plan. I not only looked at the social campaign but also the traditional marketing method.
At first, I analyzed which place would be great to put up my hoardings and based on my Primary Target audience, which magazine should we use to feature our advertisements. Then, I worked on social campaigns to get the reach to the people who do not use traditional means of media anymore. To build a campaign for socials included paid social, web page, banners. At the end of the project, I also included the budget for planning out the entire campaign and the creative brief.
